He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Hoffman and Harriet Crammer Hoffman; his son Michael Hoffman; and his sister Mary Alice Davis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bachart Hoffman; his children, Roland "Butch" Hoffman of Pennsylvania, Charles E. Scott, Jr. (Leslie) of Boomer, NC, Vicki Price of Ruffin and Kelly Scott (Charlie); his sister Laura Puzzetti (Charles) of Weatherly, PA; and his pet Trouble. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
