He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Hartz-Gimbi and Ruth Hartz-Gimbi (Younker); his wife Dolores Gimbi (Schneider); and his brother Samuel Hartz. He is survived by: his children, Robert J. Gimbi (Lashette) of Weatherly and Cynthia Hoppes of Breiningsville; and his grandsons, Eric Hoppes and Robert Gimbi III.
