It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edward Sissick of Weatherly, Pennsylvania, born in McAdoo, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John Edward departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John Edward may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John Edward leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sissick and Nellie Sissick (Lizbinski); and his wife Judith Sissick. He is survived by: his friend Rutherford Hall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home (905 High St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840).
