She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard James and Ocie Ferne McCarthy Gilmer; and her husband Clarence Edwin Tarr. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Bates of Waynesburg and Tracy Tarr of Uniontown; her stepson Charles E. Tarr of Colorado; and her siblings, Margaret DeFrancesco of Waynesburg, Dorothy Fordyce, Loretta Furman and Thomas Gilmer. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jefferson Baptist Church, 177 Pine St., Jefferson, Pa. 15344.
