We bid farewell to Shelia M. DeWitt Ellis of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 31, 2025 at the age of 51. Shelia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Jones and Georgia Jones (Conard); her son Denzil Coger; and her siblings, Daniel E. DeWitt, James DeWitt, Casey Jones and Sharon Shuckhart.
She is survived by: her husband Michael L. Ellis, Sr.; her son Patrick E. Coger (Talia) of Waynesburg; her stepchildren, Nicholas J. Coger of Waynesburg, Michael L. Ellis, Jr. (Emily) of Masontown, Nicole M. Zywicki (David) of Marianna and Candice L. Ellis (Steve) of Masontown; and her siblings, Jeff Jones (Gloria) of Greensboro, John DeWitt of Smithfield, Kathy Potts of Winchester, Brenda DeWitt of Apex, N. C. and Amy Diane Henry of Stephens City. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yoskovich Funeral Home (300 S Vine St, Carmichaels, PA 15320). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
