With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elma D. Peters of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Gelotti and Helen Gelotti (Choker); her former husband James Howard McLaughlin; her husband Earl W. Peters; her son Earl R. Peters; her grandson Matthew John McLaughlin; and her sister Dorothy Candelore.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Funk; her son-in-law Ben Gundrum of Washington; her son Sam; her daughter-in-law Denise McLaughlin of Waynesburg; her grandsons, Samuel McLaughlin (Samantha) of Waynesburg, Andrew McLaughlin (Rachel) of Waynesburg and Nathaniel James Funk of Washington; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee Jo, Tyler Paul, Harper Elizabeth and Jacob David McLaughlin.
