He was predeceased by: his father James R. Wilkin; his wife Christine; and his brother William Wilkin. He is survived by: his son Edward Wilkin, Jr.; his stepdaughters, Latisha Rush and Brenda Merkley; his brothers, James Wilkin and Raymond Wilkin; and his close friend Jason Riley (Jessica). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to church for the Trinity Baptist Missionary Program, which was a program very dear to Edward.
