She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Thompson and Hannah Margaret McCracken Thompson; and her former husband Justin R. Spurlock. She is survived by: her husband Leland F. Schaffer; and her sisters, Nellie Shirk of Spraggs, PA, Sharon Powers of Canonsburg, PA, Katy Stranak, Bedie Kinder, Betty Jo Waychoff and Dorothy Cady. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great- nieces and great-nephews.
