He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Smitley and Geraldine Smitley of Mather Pa; his wife Linda K. Smitley; and his grandson William "Wil" Pena. He is survived by: his daughters, Allison Patterson (Floyd) of Clymer, PA, Caire Ann Riggs of Ocala, FL and Emily Roberts (Dan) of Monessen, PA.; and his grandson Kyle Pena (Kristen) of Ashville, NC. He is also survived by numerous other nephews/great nephews and nieces/great nieces.
