He was predeceased by: his parent Daniel J. Haffner; his former wives, June M. Haffner (Yeakle) and Mary E. Haffner (Patterson); his daughter Patricia Ann Mills; and his siblings, Virginia Kipe, Harry Haffner and Ralph Haffner.
He is survived by: his parent Anna R. Haffner (Flegel); his children, Carolyn L. Nestler of Harrisburg, PA and Daniel W. Haffner, Jr. (Mary Anne) of Waynesboro; and his close friend Ann McBride of Waynesboro. He is also survived by three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
