It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda L. (Dixon) Byers of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas E. Dixon and Amelia J. Dixon (Barnes); her son Ronald Elbin; and her brothers, Wayne Dixon, David Dixon, Johnny Dixon and Kenny Dixon.
She is survived by: her husband Claude J. Byers, Jr.; her children, Rhonda G. Dunning of Greencastle, PA, Judy A. Rice of Waynesboro, Michelle Nunely of El Campo, TX and John Byers of Shreveport, LA; and her sisters, Connie Sellers of Nashville, GA and Norma Bishop of Hancock, MD. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
