Vonnie Ashway Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vonnie Ashway of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 5, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar O. Monn and Katherine Miller Monn; her husband Vernon L. Ashway, Sr.; and her granddaughter Kaelyn Ashway. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Fike (Gary) of Waynesboro, Denton Ashway (Michelle) of Waynesboro, Vernon Ashway, Jr. (Stacey) of Waynesboro and Robert Ashway (Lori) of Waynesboro; her grandchildren, Susan Elliott (Brendan), Scott Ashway (Kelli) and Taryn McFarland (Travis); and her sister Carolyn Miller (Jay) of Mt. Joy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family requests the omission of flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the New Franklin Women's Ministry, 2355 New Franklin Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
