It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheri Jean McGhee in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her stepfather Harold L. "Cork" Butler; her close friend Amanda Simmons; her brother-in-law Shawn D. Green; and her aunt Maryann Zentmyer. She is survived by: her parents, Alexandria Ann Butler (Gauger) of Waynesboro and Kevin Dale Aul of Waynesboro; her husband Gerald C. McGhee of St. Thomas, PA; her children, Destiny McGhee and Dallas Aul; her stepsons, Tyler Reed and Austen Mendoza-McGhee; her grandmother Barbara Monn of Waynesboro; her stepfather Wilbur Minnich (Linda); and her sisters, Charlotte "Shorty" Gauger, Shelly Minnich and Rose Minnich. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund for Destiny and Dallas (information will be provided later).
