With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shelva J. (Lesher) Barton of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shelva J. left this world on April 26, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Lesher and Alice Mae Lesher (Myers); her husband C. Gary Barton; and her sisters, Mary Bakner and Joyce Zullinger.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy W. Crider (Barb) of Rouzerville, PA and Gregory W. Crider (Susie) of Gettysburg, PA; her stepchildren, John L. Barton (Amy) of Valrico, FL and Audra L. Lucas (Jay) of Chambersburg, PA; her grandchildren, Shawn Howe, Nicole Koons and Zach Crider; her great grandchildren, Ryleigh Shade, Kenna Shade and Brycelynn Koons; and her stepgrandsons, Tyler Bock and Aaron Bock. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hawley Memorial Presbyterian Church (14753 Charmian Rd, Blue Ridge Summit, PA 17214).
