He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin L. Newcomer and Janet M. Newcomer (George); and his brother Elden M. Newcomer. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Newcomer (McCarney); his daughters, Allison N. Kopco (Chris) of Waynesboro, PA and Ashley M. Newcomer of Waynesboro, PA; his grandchildren, Jace C. Kopco and Noelle V. Kopco; his sister Bonnie M. Albright (John) of Waynesboro, PA; his brother-in-law David A. McCarney; and his mother-in-law Marilyn K. McCarney. He is also survived by numerous aunts and cousins.
