He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynard M. Johns and Katherine L. Johns (Shearer); and his daughter Cathy Johns. He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Johns (Bookwalter); his children, Betty S. Johns of Waynesboro and Robert V. Johns Jr. (Jen) of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Robert, III (Casey), Micheal, Heather (Gary) and Jonathon; his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Koden, Kaleah, Paxton and Avalinn; and his siblings, Sally A. Runyon of Chambersburg, Gloria Johns of Chambersburg, Gary L. Johns of Chambersburg, James E. Johns of Greencastle, Ronnie R. Johns of Greencastle and Timothy L. Johns of Greencastle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (11887 Mentzer Gap Rd, Waynesboro, PA 17268).
