He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Peiffer and Cora Peiffer; his siblings, E. O. Peiffer and Cleopha Garret; his son-in-law James N. Cashion; and his grandson James R. Cashion.
He is survived by: his daughter Bobbie Cashion; his grandchildren, Mary Catherine Cashion (Jeff Evans) and Benjamin Cashion (Molly Cashion); and his great grandchildren, James R. Jr., Cassidy Diane, Kimberly Faith Cashion, Jack-Henry, Jean-Luc and Jeffrey-Neil Evans.
