He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Sweeney and Ruth S. Sweeney (Cook). He is survived by: his wife Jean M. Sweeney (Peters); and his daughter Deborah K. Sweeney of Chambersburg, PA. He is also survived by two grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
