He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Hargrave, Sr. and Lillian (King) of Glenside, PA.; his brother Jack K. Hargrave; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Myers and John Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Hargrave; his children, Sandra Cox (Doug) of Waynesboro, Ginell Stull (Paul Draper) of Waynesboro, Robyn Ocker (Scott) of Spartanburg, SC and Robert Hargrave of Myrtle Beach; his siblings, Frank Hargrave (Christine) of Folcroft, PA and Mary Trunk (Tony) of Glenside, PA; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Myers (Cindy), Patricia Clark and Debbie Myers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Inc. (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Green Hill Cemetery (953 S Potomac St, Waynesboro, PA 17268).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the local cancer society or the Antietam Humane Society in his memory would be appreciated.
