With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert G. George of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 10, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnet W. and Mary S. George (Creager); and his wife Barbara A. George. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan K. Forti of Waynesboro, PA, Donna L. Smith of Greencastle, PA and Robin L. McKenzie of Waynesboro, PA; his grandchildren, Robert Blan of Cape Coral, FL, Antonios Kritikos of Chambersburg, PA, Cleopatra Kritikos of Chambersburg, PA, Adrienne Weldon of Chambersburg, PA, Justin Lehman of Chambersburg, PA, Krystin Lehman of Chambersburg, PA and Scott McKenzie of Hagerstown, MD; his brothers, Richard L. George of Waynesboro, PA and David L. George of Rouzerville, PA; and his close friend Michael Shelbert. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
