It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Rupert of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 5, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Jr. Rupert and Dorothy L. Rupert (Sheaffer); his former wife Martha E. Rupert; and his sister Gaye Fisher. He is survived by: his wife Blanche Rupert (Johns); his children, Jennifer L. Jenkins (Dustin) of Mount Union and Richard E. 'Ricky Rupert (Caitlyn Shoop) of McVeytown; his stepchildren, Dawn M. Kapoten (Michael) of Waynesboro, Joseph Reece (Leslie) of Nashville, Shannon L. Kendall (Brian) of Christiansburg and Mary Beth St. Clair of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Jazlynn Jenkins, Dyson Jenkins and Raelyn Rupert; and his siblings, Nancy Jo Watts (Robert) of Kershaw, S. C. and Max Rupert (Angelika) of Lewistown. He is also survived by 20 step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
