He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester George and Maude Ruth Hoover (Embly); and his siblings, Claudine Hawbaker, William Hoover and Thomas Hoover.
He is survived by: his wife Lois E. Hoover (Lehman); his daughters, Karen Levy (Geoffrey) of Hendersonville, NC, Susan Mickley (Dennis) of Chambersburg and Donna Harne (Eric) of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Tyler Mickley and Jenna Harne; and his great grandchild Heath Mickley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
