He is survived by: his wife Joyce Bakner (Verdier); his daughters, Lori Cornette (Walt) of Greencastle, Lisa Peiffer (Timothy) of Waynesboro and Ashlie Funkhauser (Kevin) of Waynesboro; and his sister Gloria Freeman of Waynesboro. He is also survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
