He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry M. Benedict and Hazel L. Strite Benedict; his wife Linda Diane Miskowski Benedict; and his sister Rebecca Kinter. He is survived by: his children, Terra Thompson (Ben) of Waynesboro, Michael M. Benedict (Anne) of Chambersburg, Mickey M. Benedict (Missy) of Chambersburg and Todd R. Benedict (Patricia Black) of Waynesboro. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
