She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Lerch and Helen Lerch (Swank); her husband Walter Fertig; and her sisters, Fay Jonkus (Lerch) and Marie George (Lerch).
She is survived by: her son Wynn Fertig of Waynesboro.
