She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary F. Potts and Harbaugh; her stepfather Alton F. Potts; her husband Jacob F. "Jake" Socks, III; her stepdaughters, Pamela Socks (Joel), Teresa Brunot (Duane), Dujuana Brunot (David), Jackie Stickler and Jammie Knox; her stepgrandchildren, Jacob Socks, IV, Audrey Peleaz, Hali Stickler, Brandon Brunot, Kristen Hanks, Kimberly Humphreys, Ethan Pearson and Addalyne Knox; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Lucas, Freya, Sophie and Dean.
