With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Jean Barkdoll of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, born in Smithsburg, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Nina P. Glenn (Brown) and Herman C. Glenn; her husband Samuel L. Barkdoll; her son Samuel G. Barkdoll; her grandson Shane Barkdoll; and her siblings, Rethabelle Munson (Snook), Bill and Charles Glenn (Butch).

She is survived by : her sons, Warren Dean Barkdoll (Marla) of Mineral, VA and Timothy Shawn Barkdoll (Lisa) of Smithsburg, MD; her sisters, Betty Betty Delauter, Peggy Upton (John) and Donna Kauffman; her grandchildren, Kelley Russell (Khris), Deanna Russell (Tim), Crystal Mellot (Corey), Amber Taylor (Brian), Travis Barkdoll (Jamie), Staci Barkdoll and Kaleb Barkdoll (Jessica); and her daughter-in-law Kathi Barkdoll. She is also survived by Numerous Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. L Davis Funeral Home (12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD 21783). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the J. L. Davis Funeral Home (12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD 21783).
