He was predeceased by: his brother James Stoops. He is survived by: his parents, James Stoops and Lois Stoops (Miller); his wife Linda M. Stoops (Smith); his daughter Samantha L. Wagaman (Jeff) of Waynesboro; his grandsons, Derek Wagaman and Troy Wagaman; and his brothers, Gary Stoops (Sharon) of Arkansas and Dennis Stoops (Karen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
