It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Shockey Payne (Waynesboro, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 8, 2017, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Wilbur J. Shockey. She is survived by: her former husband William W. Payne; her son Donald E. Shockey of Waynesboro; and her brothers, Paul Heefner and Kenneth M. Heefner. She is also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public viewing, however the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Wednesday morning, in the church In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Grace Brethren Church, 250 Philadelphia Ave., Waynesboro, PA 17268.
