He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Savage and Osie Savage (Poole); his wife Doris Savage (Bovey); his son Marshall Clifford "Joe" Savage, Jr.; and his former wife Dorothy Burdette.
He is survived by: his children, Glenda Chauncey of Silver Spring, MD and David Savage (Jane) of Thurmont, MD; his stepchildren, Michael Johnson (Linda) of New Market, MD, Debra Angolia of Shippensburg, PA and Thomas Johnson of Florida; and his sister Osie "Betty" Rhinecker (Dave) of Frederick, MD.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
