He was predeceased by: his parent Leroy Eckstine; his daughter Mary Edna Eckstine; and his grandson Alex Ryan Hazel. He is survived by: his parent Camilla Susan Eckstine (Kline); his wife Marlene M. Eckstine (Martin); and his children, Marlynda Hazel (Brett) of Greencastle, Marwin Eckstine (Megan) of Greencastle and Marcilyn Perez (Wilberto) of Greencastle.
