She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin E. Newcomer and Mary Newcomer (Welty); her husband Robert W. Frye, Sr.; her son Robert W. Frye, Jr.; and her siblings, Florence Mentzer, Anna Leal, Dorothy Oyler, Emory Newcomer, James Newcomer, Martin Newcomer and Roy "Buck" Newcomer.
She is survived by: her son Dale O. Frye of Virginia Beach, VA; her grandchildren, Robert W. Frye, III (Orla) of Waynesboro and Elizabeth J. Zinter of Albuquerque, NM; her great grandchildren, Robert W. Frye, IV and Jordan Zinter; and her sister Frances Betts of Waynesboro. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
