Riess of Shippensburg and Tracey Custer (Cross) of Waynesboro; his bonus-mother Kathy Riess of Shippensburg; his bonus-father Chris Custer of Waynesboro; his grandmother Edith Cross of Waynesboro; and his siblings, James "Danny" Cross (Becky) of Waynesboro, Justin Riess (Chad Bayer) of Waynesboro, Matthew Shifflett of Waynesboro and Katherine Padilla of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
