He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence L. "Buddy" Long; and his brother Ty Long. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Fessler (Reed) of Waynesboro; his wife Shari D. Long (Borror); his children, Jamie L. Long (Ashley Wagaman) of Greencastle and Adam J. Long of Greencastle; his stepdaughter Ashley Kline (Jason) of Smithsburg, MD; his grandchildren, Hailey, Destany, Kyle, Keelyn, Kylee, Myles and Emma; his sister Karla Gonder (Michael) of Waynesboro; his stepparents, Paul Fessler and Sally Long; and his stepsisters, Dorie Potter (Mark) and Jenny Piper (Terry). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
