He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Kennedy and Patricia Powell Kennedy; and his sister Ruth A. Poole. He is survived by: his wife Celia Diehl Kennedy; his children, Kelly S. Koons (John) of Greencastle, Jennifer L. Konchalski (Robert) of Mercersburg and Christopher Kennedy (Stephanie) of Fayetteville; and his siblings, Alvey Kennedy of Waynesboro and Gary Kennedy of Greencastle. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
