He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervil R. Kauffman and Janet A. Kauffman (Hess); his former wife Carrie Kauffman (Butler); and his siblings, Margaret Sheffler, Shirley Chambers and Mervin Kauffman.
He is survived by: his son Kevin R. Kauffman (Tanya) of Waynesboro, PA; and his siblings, Betty Naugle of South Mountain, PA and Thomas Kauffman of Fayetteville, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
