He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Evans Carpenter and Florence Elizabeth Carpenter (Sanner); and his siblings, Kathryn Tedrow, Ron Carpenter and Marion Hinzy.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee Carpenter (Staymates); and his siblings, Carol Withum and Roy Carpenter (Sue). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
