He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Barnes and Claudine Bakner (Strang); and his granddaughter Kailyn R. Bingaman. He is survived by: his wife Wanda J. Barnes (Verdier); his children, Melodi S. Barnes (Randy) of Waynesboro, Kenneth D. Barnes, Jr. (Candy) of Waynesboro and Karen J. Bingaman (Frank) of Waynesboro; his granddaughter Brianna Barnes; and his siblings, Marvin Barnes of South Mountain, Lennis Barnes of Waynesboro, Connie Voss of Fayetteville, PA, Bonnie Chamberlain of Zullinger, PA, Deb Bakner of Zullinger and Rhonda Rowe of Waynesboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
