He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Cantler and Nancy L. Dallam. He is survived by: his children, John Ethan Cantler of Tulsa, OK, Annalee Joy Cantler of Chambersburg, PA, Glenda Daron of Waynesboro, Kristopher Daron of Waynesboro and Gregory Daron of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Kadence, Logan, Tyler, Robert, Annalee, Henry and Jenna; and his siblings, Frank Cantler of Hanover, Karl Cantler of Waynesboro and Edda Jane Gibson of Alachua, FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
