It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Koons Sr. (Waynesboro, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 17, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent George Koons; and his siblings, Robert Koons, Kathryn Mullinx and Betty Snowberger. He is survived by: his parent Iva Koons (Bonebrake); his wife Doris E. Koons (Gsell); his children, Dennis Koons (Jeanette) of Mont Alto, PA, Kenneth Koons (Deborah) of Steels Tavern, VA, Deborah Bowers (Donald) of Greencastle, PA, Carolyn Baker (Richard) of Waynesboro and John Koons, Jr.; his wife Kelly of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Curtis Koons, Kathryn Scott, Jacob Koons, Elizabeth Meredith, Richard Baker, Jr., Wesley Baker, Brandon Koons, Andrew Koons and Amanda Dunn; and his brothers, Maynard Koons and Donald Koons. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
