He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Dupont and Beulah Shaffer (Bumbaugh); his great grandchild Atticus John Myers; and his siblings, Max Dupont, Marie Dupont Moats, Daniel Shaffer and Kenneth Shaffer.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his daughters, Sharyn Dupont of Waynesboro and Nancy Dupont of Waynesboro; his granddaughters, Jonica Stevens of Wilmington, NC and Shana Myers of Waynesboro, PA; and his siblings, Donald Shaffer, Donna Kay Hobbs (Shaffer), Marion and Roger Shaffer. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
