She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roger Lewis and Beatrice Lewis (Wilhide); her grandparents, Emma and David Wilhide; her aunt Wilma; her uncle D. Benjamin Wilhide; her husband Charles E. "Bud" Helfrick; her daughters, Kimberly A. Miles (Jesse) of Waynesboro and Debra S. Moorefield (Steve) of Millers, MD; her granddaughters, Jessica L. Gress (Tim) of Waynesboro, Jennifer L. Simmers (R. B. Haggarty) of Purcellville, VA and Julia A. Miles of Waynesboro; her great grandchildren, Philip O. Gress, Naomi M. Gress and Gabriel Simmers Gress; and her sister Winona Gourley. She was also cherished by sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
