She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Russell Toms and Alma LaRue Toms (Shockey); her husband Norman F. "Chub" Shadle, Jr.; and her sisters, Mary Etta "Susie" Rook and Lois Ann Thompson.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Richard E. Thompson of Mechanicsburg, PA; her nephew Richard Thompson, II (Terri); and her niece Beth Fetzner (Dave).
