With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Wishard of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jean left this world on January 26, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Jean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jean farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Robinson and Gladys Robinson (Mentzer). She is survived by: her sons, Dennis R. Wishard (Kathy) of Waynesboro, David I. Wishard of Waynesboro, Dwaine E. Wishard (Emily) of Waynesboro and Darryl R. Wishard (Tiffany) of Vienna, VA; and her brother James Robinson of Ephrata, PA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 12 great -grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (12 N Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268).
