She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her siblings, Dora Smith and Bud Bowers; her grandchildren, Erin Swisher Youngbar and Matthew J. Elgin; and her children-in-law, Susan Blocher Elgin, James Churchill and James Swisher.
She is survived by: her children, William J. Elgin (Carolyn), Daniel E. Elgin (Bonnie), Nancy L. Churchill Souders (Foster) and Peggy A. Swisher (late Jim). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, and six nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Otterbein Church of Waynesboro or West End Baptist Chapel, 59 Winter Street in Hagerstown, MD.
