He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob F. Socks, Jr. and Goldie Socks (Keefer); his former wife Louise Socks (Stacey); his daughter Diana Lynn Socks; and his siblings, Patricia Socks and Gerald Socks.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Socks (Wilhide); his daughters, Pamela Socks (Joel), Teresa Brunot (Duane), Dujuana Brunot (David), Jackie Stickler and Jammie Knox; his grandchildren, Jacob Socks, IV, Audrey Peleaz, Hali Stickler, Brandon Brunot, Kristen Hanks, Kimberly Humphreys, Ethan Pearson and Addalyne Knox; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Freya, Sophie and Dean; and his siblings, Samuel "Bill" Socks and Dorine Wolgemuth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
