He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Fitzgerald and Irene Fitzgerald (Thompson); his son Jeffrey Allen Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Irene "Sis" Wade, Nancy Rickrode and Richard Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his wife Roselyne L. Fitzgerald (Jones); his daughters, Julie Scott (Boyd) of Chambersburg and Malissa Baer (William) of Waynesboro; his granddaughters, Shawna Scott of Chambersburg and Kathryn "Katie" Baer of Waynesboro; his stepgrandchildren, Brett Baer and Kandi Carbaugh; and his great grandchild Gabriella Harvey of Chambersburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A. M. to 11:00 A. M., Friday, September 18, 2020 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 South Broad Street, Waynesboro where the current COVID restrictions will be enforced.
