She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph F. Smith and Irene D. Smith; and her husband Elwood M. "Mike" Harris. She is survived by: her son Joseph C. Palughi; her daughter-in-law Trudy Gembe-Palughi of Waynesboro; and her sister Brenda Goeller of Baltimore.
