He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Caufman and Florence Caufman (Hoover); his stepson Roger Harbaugh; his granddaughter Amber Groft; and his siblings, Vaughn Mayberry and Arthur Caufman.
He is survived by: his wife Delores M. "Dee" Caufman (Cooper); his children, Terry Caufman (Vicky) of Fairfield, Jerry Caufman (Shirley) of Greencastle, PA, Lowell Harbaugh (Barbie) of Waynesboro, Melinda Harbaugh (Leroy) of Waynesboro, Albert Harbaugh (Jenna) of Waynesboro, Gwenda Ingream (Scott) of Greencastle, Lisa Groft (Fawn) of Claymont, DE and Lionel Caufman (Poo) of Fairfield; his stepchildren, Sherry Harbaugh of Nebraska and Kim Tregoning (Butch) of Martinsburg, WV; his sister Wanda Blakemore (Daniel); and his stepdaughter-in-law Sally Harbaugh of Fayetteville. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
