He was predeceased by: his parents, George, Sr. Smetzer and Betty Jane Smetzer (Ebersole); and his brothers, Danny Smetzer and Robert Smetzer. He is survived by: his children, Tony Smetzer (Penny) and Amy Smetzer (Ty); his close friend Angie Martin; and his siblings, Dave Ebersole, Helen Phillips, Linda Daywalt, Beverly Atherton, Paul Smetzer, Jim Smetzer, John Smetzer, Mark Smetzer Charles Smetzer, Ricky Smetzer and Ritchie Smetzer. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
